Bo Xilai Removed From Top Ranks of China's Communist Party -- Voice of America

China's Communist Party has suspended charismatic politician Bo Xilai from its top ranks -- the latest development in a political scandal involving him and his family.

Chinese state media reported late Tuesday that Bo was suspended from the party's 25-member Politburo and its 300-member Central Committee on suspicion of "serious disciplinary violations."

: I have been a China watcher since the early 1980s .... even living there for a few years .... and even I am shocked by this. This is huge news in China.
